Description

The Senior Clinical Strategy and Practice Professional begins to influence department's strategy as well as operational implementation with regard to Behavioral Health program.

With no direct reports, this position will primarily be focused on development and implementation of behavioral health program enhancements for Humana's Healthy Horizons in Kentucky plan. Position reports to the Behavioral Health Director. This position will work standard work week schedule- 8a-5pm M-F with potential extra duties as assigned or to meet business needs.

Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction.

Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Demonstrates understanding of contract and accreditation requirements with respect to Behavioral Health, Behavioral Health provider landscape and system of care.

Can manage behavioral health projects specific to operational excellence including those with impacts to claims payments; clinical and quality programs; service delivery innovation; member satisfaction and overall improvement in behavioral health member outcomes.

Position will report to the market Behavioral Health director, priorities and goals set in concert with leader and overall Population Health plan.

Required Qualifications

Master's Level Certified Social Worker (CSW) or Independently Licensed Behavioral Health clinician (LPCC, LCSW, LMFT) OR Registered Nurse with psychiatric experience

2 or more years of previous management/supervisor level experience

3 or more years of experience working with Medicaid

Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting data trends

Progressive business consulting and/or operational leadership experience

Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Additional Requirements

If the candidate resides within driving distance of the office in Louisville, KY the expectation will be to report to the office. (see additional information below)

If candidate outside of Louisville: (in office will be required for Louisville applicants)

Must have a separate room with a locked door that can be used as a home office to ensure you have absolute and continuous privacy while you work

Must provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) is required

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience working in a managed care field

5 or more years of previous management/supervisor level experience

Project Management experience

Previous MCO experience/leadership

Interview Process

As part of our hiring process, we will be using an exciting interviewing technology provided by Modern Hire, a third-party vendor. This technology provides our team of recruiters and hiring managers an enhanced method for decision-making.
