Patient Screener','212871','Access Points','Washington-Seattle','Days','40 hours per week','40 hours per week','Variable','Variable','Monday - Friday','Monday - Friday','','','!*!In this position you will have the opportunity to provide a positive first impression for patients, visitors and vendors entering the Virginia Mason Medical Center campuses. You will perform infection control screening for all patients, visitors and vendors who enter the facility by asking a series of questions as well as providing instructions related to mandatory masking for all who enter the facilities. Key attributes of this position include strong social skills, dependability, reliability, ability to be self-guided and ability to follow standard processes.
Engage with all patient, visitors and vendors by providing infection control screening measures related to COVID-19 signs and symptoms.
Ensure all patients, visitors and vendors are appropriately masked based on screening measures upon to entry into facility.
Demonstrate RESPECT for People behaviors in all interactions.
Provide way finding for patients, visitors and vendors when needed.
Provide access to interpretive services for those who have English as a second language.
Work collaboratively with team mates to ensure that access points are covered throughout assigned shifts, accommodating timeliness of lunch and break relief.

','!*!High School Diploma or equivalent required.Complete AVADE training within 6 months of hirePreferred: At least one year of front line experience with hospitality, customer service or related field.Experience with hospitality service or customer service will support the success of this role.
