To provide assessment, short-term counseling, ongoing counseling, referral and follow-up service to individuals, couples, children, families, and groups. Work in inpatient, ambulatory practices, or Employee Assistance Program (EAP)/patient companies).

At least 3 years experience on a psychiatric unit. Must be comfortable multi-tasking and fluent with computer technology - able to move between multiple programs. Will require a lot of walking throughout the medical center and will need to come to Roanoke for 5 weeks for orientation.

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Masters Degree in Behavioral Sciences from an accredited university required.

Experience: Two years - Five years of experience in the mental health profession.

Licensure/Certification: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP) or RN CNSrequired. LSCW preferred.

Other: Part of interdisciplinary C/L Team. Interfaces with patients on medical floors and ED. Provides assessment, triage counseling. Facilitate admissions or outpatient referralsOUR VALUES
