Description
The Provider Contracting Administration Coordinator 2 supports the administration of the contracting function. The Provider Contracting Administration Coordinator 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.
Responsibilities
The Provider Contracting Administration Coordinator 2 conduct analysis of financial impact of contracts and terms, communicate contract terms, payment structures, and reimbursement rates to providers, or identify and recruiting providers based on network composition and needs. Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, andworks under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.
Required Qualifications
Experience interacting with healthcare providers
Proficiency with Excel to include data manipulation and reporting
Strong presentation and communication skills
Experience working in a healthcare or health insurance environment
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Experience working with provider networks or provider operations
Experience working in claims payment systems and/or provider demographic systems
