Description
The Humana Healthy Horizons Strategic Solutions team's purpose is to accelerate the ideation and development of transformational initiatives that maximize customer value to create a differentiated value proposition for Humana Healthy Horizons. As a centrally positioned strategic function this team coordinates with Humana Healthy Horizon's executive leadership team to manage an innovation portfolio tailored to capture business objectives. We collaborate with business units across the enterprise to set actionable strategies and support transformational initiatives through ideation, concept development to launch. We deliver value through detailed research, data-driven insights, strategic planning, structured problem solving, and project management rigor. We are a diverse set of highly skilled individuals with deep Medicaid subject matter expertise who work in an agile, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Humana Healthy Horizons is seeking a Senior Innovation Portfolio Strategy Professional
who will play a critical role in the evolution of Humana's innovative solutions and, more broadly, in helping Humana deliver on its well-being centered mission. They will support the oversight and management of the innovation portfolio and framework that drives the creation and commercialization of new, innovative products and solutions.

Responsibilities include:
Assesses and monitors the portfolio for balance against strategic business objectives, thought leadership opportunities, and an ability to achieve meaningful impact for members.
Identifies and mitigates risks within the portfolio, taking corrective action and escalating issues when necessary.
Creates and maintains resource plans that ensure appropriate resourcing to fully develop prioritized solutions.
Develops tactical analysis, synthesis, validation, and packaging of deliverables to business leaders for decision making (ex. aggregation of product portfolios status reporting, financials, resourcing, roadmaps, as well as management of SharePoint and governance presentations).
Conducts market research, extracts insights, and informs the identification and prioritization of white space opportunities that will generate a differentiated value proposition for Humana Medicaid products.
Supports Innovation Leads work through the design and development phases of the product lifecycle.
Maintains tools and trainings that support agile and customer centric ways of working and promote Innovation best practices across Medicaid segment.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Health, or a related field.
2 years of experience in strategy, consulting, solution development, or innovation with a specific focus on health products.
2 years of health care experience focused on managed care or payer partnerships.
Experience managing stakeholder relationships including executive and management audiences, and external vendors.
Experience managing projects and working with cross-functional teams.
Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with experience identifying trends and actionable insights.
Proven ability to adapt quickly and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
Work at Home/Remote Requirements
At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.
Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone and computer equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
Preferred Qualifications
1 years experience focused on Medicaid.
Experience with human centered design and agile product management methodologies.
Project Management and Process Improvement qualifications.
Proven ability to work with remote teams and foster a cohesive and creative work environment.

Interview Format
