Description
The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 Dr. Call Phones Team: Typically works on semi-routine assignments. This is an incoming call center setting. Technicians are responsible for taking incoming phones calls from providers and patients for New Rx's, clarifications or transfers as outlined by standard policies.
Responsibilities
Responsible for taking incoming calls from providers and patients
Responsible for making outbound calls to providers and patients
Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments.
Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction.
Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.
Role Essentials
Candidates for this position must have the following skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must have an active Pharmacy Technician License in Texas
Certified Pharmacy Technician
At least 2 year experience preferred
Inbound/outbound call experience
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Experience using multiple computer applications simultaneously
Strong data entry skills
A positive, proactive attitude with a passion for customer service
