Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of rehabilitative services.

Develop specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.

Assess quality of patient care and coordinate services with patients and healthcare providers

Manage staff relations and oversees scheduling, recruitment, and payroll.

Oversee departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

One or more of the following required:

Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (OTR) credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 2 years of experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
