Description
This marketing professional is responsible for leading the development and implementation of new market launch marketing strategies, campaigns and programs for Humana's Care Delivery Organization supporting Partners in Primary Care. Solid marketing technical mastery, strategic thinking, initiative and follow through, working effectively with others and good project management capabilities are critical to meet that responsibility.
Responsibilities
The position requires the ability manage multiple projects from concept to completion, drive strategy and execution, and collaborate with senior-level leaders and across teams of managers, consultants and analysts. This associate will report to the Associate Vice President of Marketing for the Care Delivery Organizations and work closely with Partners in Primary Care market development and growth teams providing trusted counsel on content strategy and marketing direction, target audience development, and brand positioning for Partners in Primary Care to grow, retain, and engage their patient base
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Execute new market launch/expansion of patient & agent marketing strategies and plans
Leading market specific strategic and brand development efforts, and developing, executing, and managing integrated marketing communication plans across digital and traditional marketing channels
Creating compelling audience experiences to drive marketing objectives
Developing persuasive and market resonating hypotheses, and creating powerful value propositions and messaging to test in market
Ensuring all marketing is on-brand, consistent in voice and tonality
Devising market specific engagement strategies for prospective patients within different stages of the conversion funnel to support patient acquisition growth targets
Developing guides/tools/templates to support sales team with patient acquisition, patient retention, and patient engagement
Deploying market specific patient acquisition toolkits and consult on acquisition approaches
Creating and managing the market specific planning cycle, deliverables, and annual marketing calendar
Delivering market specific measurement strategies and overseeing to ensure execution, including social media measurement; leading and managing effective reporting and related communications to the business
Managing external resources and vendors; collaborating cross-functionally across Humana and Consumer Group
Have good planning skills and the ability to anticipate problems and develop a plan of action to prevent delays in projects and/or the department's workflow
Play a leading role in a cross-functional team environment to achieve business goals, keep projects on track, within budget, and on time
Execute with a nimble speed to market focus, in order to achieve business objectives
Monitor and provide vital insights on the marketing environment at the local level including competitors, key target opportunities, multi-cultural strategy etc.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
5 years of experience with marketing strategy, digital marketing, and/or content marketing
Experience with activating field-based marketing activities such as community events, conferences or other events
Experience in product/service launch strategy, planning and execution
A business partner-centric mindset and approach to work
Intellectual curiosity and willingness to both teach others and learn
Strong, demonstrated skills leading project and/or influencing cross-functional teams
Strong, demonstrated skills measuring marketing campaigns and developing insights from analysis
Strong, demonstrated strategy development skills and ability to engage in and apply enterprise thinking
High degree of professionalism and poise to interact effectively with physicians
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal; able to communicate at all levels of an organization
The successful candidate will be an action-oriented, self-starter with strong organizational skills, who is thorough and demonstrates a lot of initiative and follow-through. This team player must be flexible, and enthusiastic.
Must be willing to travel up to 25% of time
Must have accessibility to high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (satellite internet service is NOT allowed for this role); and a minimum internet connection speed of 10M x 1M
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or Master's degree
Prior Marketing Experience for a Fortune 500 company preferred but not required
Experience working in the healthcare industry
Experience working with SalesForce
