KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Lead IT Related Major Initiatives

Coordinate and lead multiple projects related to a major initiative for the company that encompasses multiple systems teams and business areas.

Ensure individual projects teams work in coordination with each other and maintain timeline.

Secure effort of outside resources and remove barriers that impact project completion.

Education of executive leaders in function and capabilities of the system

Manages technical relationships

Manage IT vendor relationships

Perform Project Planning and Analysis

Use interview skills and general business knowledge to help gather and document business system and functional requirements

Assist with buy vs. build and cost benefit analysis regarding technology solutions to business problems.

Manage task‐level project schedule in coordination with cross‐functional teams.

Data analysis

Guide Project Design, Development and Testing

Work with developers to understand work related to design, development and integration.

Assist developers with resolving technical or process issues by performing research, removing issues and providing needed documentation.

Work with developers to create project design documents, including use case analysis, batch and online process flows and screen functions

Define test plans based on use cases to fully test applications for user acceptance testing.

Guide Project Implementation and Product Support

Prepare system deployment and communication plan

Coordinate end user acceptance testing and verify sign off by each business area tester prior to deployment. Assist users as necessary with testing.

Lead cross‐functional teams through deployment using the documented plans

Plan system installation and conversion support in accordance with business requirements.

Supervision of all release activities

Ensures operation readiness prior to implementation

Provide on-going system support

Required Qualifications

Three to five plus years of relevant project leadership experience

1 to 3 plus years of experience in Production Support

1 to 3 plus years of experience in Technical Writing

1 to 3 plus years of experience working as Agile Project Owner

Project Management/Scrum experience

Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to work well in a team development setting

Prior experience in IT business analysis experience to include artifacts development

Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall and Agile development methodologies

Experience problem solving and consultation with complex environments

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Proficient to include MS Access

Our Department of Defense Contract requires U.S. citizenship for this position

Successfully receive interim approval for government security clearance (eQIP - Electronic Questionnaire for Investigation Processing)

Work at Home/Remote Requirements

WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.

A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.

Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.

A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or Master's degree

Experience facilitating cross-functional team efforts

Prior experience working in the healthcare industry

Experience in TRICARE or other federally regulated healthcare programs
