Humana Healthy Horizons in Louisiana is seeking a Crisis Service Liaison to join our growing team. The Crisis Service Liaison will have the primary responsibility of educating providers and those in the community about the Louisiana Crisis Response System (LA-CRS). Responsibilities
The Crisis Service Liaison will have the following responsibilities:
Liaise between the Health Plan, the Louisiana Department of Health, Local Governing Entities (LGE), crisis providers, and members.
Support day to day operations as a subject matter expert for the Humana Behavioral Health market team.
Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements.
Manage escalated concerns/cases to resolution.
Coordinate with community resources, including, but not limited to, law enforcement, emergency departments, statewide and regional crisis coalitions, dispatch call centers, and emergency management service organizations to expand the crisis response.
Assist in the preparation of crisis services reporting.
$5000 SIGN-ON BONUS for new associates! $3000 payable within the first 45 days and the remaining $2000 after 1 year of service.
Required Qualifications
Licensed Mental Health Professional with one of the following licenses: Licensed Masters Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) OR Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) OR Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) OR Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC).
Minimum three (3) years of Behavioral Health experience.
Intermediate to advanced computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Experience with utilizing a variety of electronic information applications/software programs including electronic medical records.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport.
Ability to work in a variety of settings with culturally diverse families and communities, and the ability to be culturally sensitive and appropriate.
Ability to work with minimal supervision within the role and scope.
This role is a part of Humana's Driver Safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100,000/300,000/100,000 limits.
To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:
At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.
Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
Preferred Qualifications
High-level administrative experience with navigating and/or overseeing state's safety net behavioral health programs and services through the LGEs, or a similar infrastructure of state-designated local behavioral health authorities.
Knowledge of community resources and behavioral health practices with high-risk populations.
Additional Information
Workstyle: Home. Home workstyle is defined as remote but will use Humana office space on an as needed basis for collaboration and other face-to-face needs.
Location: must reside in Louisiana.
Travel: up to 10% within the state of Louisiana to meet with providers or for community/state functions.
Typical Work Days/Hours: Monday through Friday; 8:00am - 5:00 pm (CST)

Interview Format
