This position will review and make recommendations related to the quality of CS or other surveillance data, prepare cases for input from subject matter experts, and contribute to updating protocols and tools for quality assurance review of priority STD cases. This position will research, analyze and synthesize information about STD prevention using surveillance data, published research, and best practices identified by local health jurisdictions, state and national partners, and other stakeholders. This position will provide logistical support for statewide webinars and meetings with individual local health jurisdictions to support them in building their capacity to respond to STDs.\u003cbr/\u003e\u003cbr/\u003eThe Project Specialist will be involved in analytical studies on a variety of policies, projects, programs and issues in support of a function, research initiative, program and / or organizational unit, or in research of new or changing systems and programs.
