We are seeking a part time (16 hours per week) experienced clinic RN to work at our Virginia Mason University Village Medical Center. This position will require the RN to work on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Our U Village clinic is a beautiful facility that was thoughtfully designed – from a separate newborn waiting area in pediatrics to a convenient onsite laboratory. The clinic area is spacious and comfortable – with plenty of natural light streaming through the large windows lining the waiting rooms. In addition to primary care for children and adults, the medical center offers a variety of specialty services including Asthma and Allergy care. Every day at Virginia Mason, patients with asthma, allergy and immunological disorders are successfully treated by highly-skilled specialists whose advanced training and experience help provide the best of care for both common and unusual conditions in children and adults. The responsibilities of the Registered Nurse includes: Coordinating and facilitating quality management of a broad based outpatient population across the continuum of care. Providing skilled triage and assessment, education, collaboration and coordination of healthcare and community resources, Supporting the care team in the provision of patient care. Providing patient advice including telephone triage. Assisting in prioritizing daily work of the clinic Providing direction to team members, including oversight of Medical Assistant’s clinical competency. ','!*!
Current Washington State licensure as an RN
CPR certification is required every two years
Bachelors of Science of Nursing
Strong patient assessment skills, ability to work collaboratively in team setting, current working knowledge of electronic medical records.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with pediatrics
