Description
The Senior Market Development Professional will be instrumental in driving the CNFL Region's product strategy and will play an active role in the annual bid process. This role includes competitive analysis, project management, Medicare Advantage plan design & implementation, and cross-functional leadership. Strategic thinking and attention to detail will be key, as well as, partnering effectively with stakeholders across Humana. The Senior Market Development Professional work assignments involve moderately complex, to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
The Senior Market Development Professional serves as ta resource to support the Market Leadership Advisor and Market Leadership team. Responsibilities to include:
Interact with all Departments and Business partners within the Region
Support and assist the Market Leadership Advisor in daily activities to include
Region Product implementation (BID design) processes and tracking
Market Meetings to include Market Review, Town Halls , Leadership meetings (Bi-Annual, Bi-Monthly and Bi-Weekly)
Support and partner with leaders on other strategic initiatives to drive market operations
Documentation of needed Regional workflows as outflow from meetings to identify including cyclical activities
Support in execution of Associate Well-Being and Engagement
Collaborate and network with other Sr. Market Development Professionals in FL via 1:1s or group discussion, and other areas to understand Best Practices that we can implement in our Region or share with other Regions things that work well for us
Network with CNFL Provider Engagement Project Manager and attend meetings with Market Leadership Advisor
Identify continuous process improvement opportunities with each assignment if they exist
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
5 or more years of experience in a fast paced environment
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple assignments
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note
Proficiency Office365
Experience implementing and measuring success on complex health-related initiatives and pilots
Strategic thinker with ability to work independently
Strong relationship building skills
Strong analytical skills
Process-focused, with ability to leverage and enhance existing processes
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree
2 years Healthcare experience
Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookups)
Operations experience working with Medicare Advantage Products
PMP certification
Proficient with Access, Visio, Publisher
