HCS DIRECTOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY - CLINICAL APPLICATIONS','INF003C0','!*!Responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all Information Technology functions for the health system as it relates to Clinical Applications used in Inpatient, Post-Acute and Ambulatory settings. Qualified candidate must have management experience leading, planning, organizing and execution of a wide variety of clinical applications in a production setting across multi-facility health care organizations. Candidate must also be able to demonstrate proven ability at managing large budget and reviewing a wide variety of IT contracts. Directs all IT operations to meet customer requirements including support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical solutions in accordance with Health System ISD standards. Effectively communicates expectations and responsibilities to subordinates. Actively listens and addresses issues and concerns promptly. Encourages workforce engagement by building a commitment to excellence. Leads team toward meeting the organization's vision, mission, and goals. Delegates responsibility, clarifies expectations and holds self and others accountable for achieving results related to their area of responsibility. Deals effectively with pressure and remains optimistic and persistent, even under adversity. Ensures compliance with health system and external accrediting agency guidelines and regulations. Develops, maintains, and ensures adherence to policies and procedures related to Health System IT standards including but not limited to IT security and privacy. Directs system-level operations, develops goals and objectives, and administers policies, procedures and processes as needed. Aligns system-level objectives with organizational strategic plans. Develops and manages Operating and Capital budget for Clinical Applications within ISD. Monitors financial performance and adjusts resources to optimize expenditure while maintaining exceptional quality and service. Reviews contracts and provides technical support on technical aspects of contracts and manages them through established contract management process. Oversees project and routine support budgets once established and implements projects in accordance with established project plan and budgets.','!*!Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience).

If a Bachelor's degree: Eight (8) years of related experience and five (5) years of progressive management experience.

If an Associate's degree: Twelve (12) years of related experience and five (5) years of progressive management experience.

If a High School diploma or GED: Sixteen (16) years of related experience and five (5) years of progressive management experience.- Must have leadership experience managing a wide variety of Health Care IT applications across multiple IT application teams.
