Description
Dr. Call Phone Team Pharmacy Technicians will typically work on semi-routine assignments within a call center environment. Technicians assist providers, members, and other medical facilities with their prescription needs, through prompt management of inbound and outbound calling queues.
Responsibilities
The Dr. Call Phones Pharmacy Technician works from home in a call center capacity to provide positive resolutions for prescriptions that are considered incomplete, invalid, or contain clinical issues preventing the fulfillment of the request.
In this role, you will :
Responsible for taking incoming calls from providers, patients, and retail pharmacies
Responsible for making outbound calls to providers, patients, and retail pharmacies
Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments
Work within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction
Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion
Required Qualifications
Must have an active license Pharmacy Technician license with the AZ Board of Pharmacy
National Certification, PTCB or ExCPT - CPhT
Experience as a Pharmacy Technician OR call center experience in a pharmacy or related call center setting
Excellent communication skills
Experience using multiple computer applications simultaneously
Must be able to type a minimum of 40 words per minute
Must have a positive and proactive attitude
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving customer experiences
Work at Home Office must be a dedicated, secure home workspace, and have high-speed internet with a minimum connection speed of 10m x 1m (documentation will be required for Work at Home Audits)
Work hours 9:00 - 5:30 CST. (Must have flexibility to work within hours of operation - 8:00 - 11PM EST Monday - Friday; 8:00 - 6:30 EST Saturday)

High School diploma
Additional Information
Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters.
