Job Title: UM Administration Coordinator/Pharmacy Technician Representative- Full Time
Location: Work From Home in OH - Must live in the state of Ohio
Schedule for First Three Months: (8) hour shift between the hours of Mon-Fri 7:00am - 11:00pm EST and weekends 7:00am-6:30pm EST for the UM Administration Coordinator role
Schedule After the First Three Months: Transition to the Pharmacy Technician Representative role may come with a schedule change
UM Administration Coordinator/Pharmacy Technician Representative (Technician in Training) Role Details: For the first 3 months, the role will support Humana Clinical Pharmacy Review (HCPR) as a UM Administration Coordinator. After the first three months in HCPR, the role will transition permanently to a Humana Pharmacy Technician Representative (Technician in Training) role. (Transition to the Technician in Training role is required.)

Pharmacy Technician Representative (Technician in Training) Job Description
The Rx Clinical Programs Pharmacy Technician Representative 1 assists in driving prescription drug optimization in cases where patients are taking multiple medications. Through effective communication, helps drive health awareness with patients through Rx Education and targeted quarterly campaigns. Assists Pharmacists by placing and retrieving calls to confirm patients are taking drugs and provides counseling. Decisions are limited to defined parameters around work expectations, quality standards, priorities and timing, and works under close supervision and/or within established policies/practices and guidelines with minimal opportunity for deviation. The candidates need to be within driving distance from the Springdale, OH office.

Required Qualifications
Administrative or technical support experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook in a Windows based environment and an ability to quickly learn new systems
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Home Office: A dedicated secure home workspace, and high-speed internet DSL or Cable modem with a minimum connection speed of 10m x 1m (Satellite internet service is NOT allowed for this role)
Must transition to Technician in Training role after 3 months
Must live in the state of Ohio
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient utilizing electronic medical record and documentation programs
Proficient and/or experience with medical terminology and/or ICD-10 codes
High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or a related field
Prior member service or customer service telephone experience desired
Experience with Utilization Review and/or Prior Authorization, preferably within a managed care organization
Fluency in Spanish
