Responsibilities

Lead clinical professional development for assigned market to ensure the consistent alignment,delivery, performance, and evaluation of multi-faceted clinical professional development programs.

Manage clinical professional development teams to achieve organizational goals and provide access to clinical learning delivery, performance, and programs.

Oversee program quality, analysis of program effectiveness, and overall efficacy of clinical education in achieving strategic business priorities.

Collaborate with others to create and conduct needs assessments that provide meaningful data to leaders to ensure alignment of clinical professional development operations with the organization's strategic priorities.

Participates in the development of clinical professional development services with budget stewardship to ensure alignment with organizational needs and strategic direction.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)obtained within 18 Months (1 1/2 year) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.

Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred.

Work Experience:

5 years of experience required.

10 years of experience preferred.

2 years of leadership or management experience required.

5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Additional Preferences

NPD Certification required within 18 months

2-3 years experience in nursing education preferred - acute care or academia
