The Supervisor, Care Management Support will lead a team of 16-22 care support professionals and contributes to administration of care management. Provides non-clinical support to the assessment and evaluation of members' needs and requirements to achieve and/or maintain optimal wellness state by guiding members/families toward and facilitate interaction with resources appropriate for the care and wellbeing of members. The Supervisor, Care Management Support works within thorough, prescribed guidelines and procedures; uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors to solve basic problems; collaborates with management and top professionals/specialists in selection of methods, techniques, and analytical approach.
Responsibilities
The Supervisor, Care Management Support Decisions are typically are related to schedule, plans and daily operations. Performs escalated or more complex work of a similar nature, and supervises a group of typically support and technical associates; coordinates and provides day-to-day oversight to associates. Ensures consistency in execution across team. Holds team members accountable for following established policies.
$equired Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
4-6 years of related experience in management of healthcare analytical support staff
Technical proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Demonstrates independent decision making for complex analytical issues
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Must have accessibility to high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite internet service is NOT allowed for this role); and recommended speed for optimal performance from Humana systems is 25M x 10M
Must be able to work Monday-Friday 9:30am-6pm EST with potential for weekend and evening rotations pending business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft experience with Access
Data Analysis experience
Previous experience collaborating with management and top professionals/specialists
Call center experience
