Description
SeniorBridge is hiring a Per Diem Scheduler to cover On-Call hours as-needed. The On-Call Scheduling Specialist performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments, including paraprofessional scheduling and general office functions of the branch. This position is worked remotely. On-Call hours include Monday-Thursday 5PM-8:30AM; Friday 5:00PM-Monday 8:30AM.
SeniorBridge is Humana's wholly-owned home care business acquired in 2012. We're passionate about helping families and loved ones find solutions that make life better. We provide concierge care management, private duty nursing, and personal care assistance services to seniors.
Responsibilities
Dependent on the size of the branch, the Scheduling Specialist may be responsible for part or all of the following:
Scheduling:
Ensures that requests for homecare service are filled promptly , and scheduled into computer in a timely manner
Ensure that homecare schedules are complete and accurate in computer
Reviews Santrax records daily to ensure that all staff are at clients as scheduled. Follows up immediately on any discrepancies.
Reviews all scheduled homecare daily in preparation for payroll, and billing approvals by manager
Reports any client or staff issues to supervisor promptly
Participates in administrative on call backed up by professional staff for client/family issues
Personnel Functions:
Performs initial phone screening with potential applicant per Humana at Home-SeniorBridge guidelines
Ensures that all required pre-employment documentation is completed by prospective candidates per company hiring guidelines and accurately data enters the information into Rosalind
Schedules interviews and performs all background checks for prospective candidates
Schedules, coordinates and performs administrative portion of orientation for approved candidates
Data enters all information for new paraprofessional hires into Rosalind and maintains the Associate's physical employee file as appropriate
On-Call hours include Weekdays: Monday-Thursday 5PM-8:30AM; Weekends: Friday 5:00PM-Monday 8:30AM. You may be scheduled daily, weekly or over the weekend. Schedule specifics to be outlined more during job interview.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Working knowledge of computers, or a demonstrated technical aptitude and an ability to quickly learn new systems
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration
Strong organizational skills; ability to balance multiple initiatives and prioritize workload
Private Pay Home Healthcare experience
Bilingual in English and Spanish
