Virginia Mason is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Issaquah Regional Medical Center’s Adult Primary Care team.

Aspects of the role:
Team based approach: Each provider is part of a subset or pod of the larger primary care team. Each pod has physicians, APPs, nurses, medical assistants and administrative supportive to provide excellent care to patients. The ARNP or PA also helps support messages and indirect care. Pods are able to adapt and make changes quickly that fit their team needs.
Integrative primary care model: Virginia Mason has an innovative approach, with embedded pharmacists, social workers and psychiatry providers all part of the primary care team and partnering to provide the best care to patients. In primary care, we provide focused, coordinated care for our patients that have resulted in excellent health outcomes.
Access to ancillary and specialty services: Referral options to over 30 medical specialties within Virginia Mason with collegial and responsive results.

Virginia Mason Issaquah Medical Center is a multi-specialty clinic serving Issaquah, Washington and the surrounding areas. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a well-established team of Internal Medicine, Family Medicine and Pediatric physicians and advanced practitioners. In addition to on-site radiology services, the Issaquah Medical Center offers dozens of specialties and services, including pediatric ophthalmology, otolaryngology, podiatry, sleep medicine and the only Down Syndrome program in the Pacific Northwest.

Washington State Registered Nurse License and an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License are required for this job.
Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and National Provider Identifier (NPI) numbers may be required depending on the position, as well as prescriptive authority.
Advanced background in nursing; an understanding of anatomy, physiology, histology, and pharmacology; and strong interpersonal and counseling skills.
Certification by specialty area as well as work experience in specialty area may be required, depending on the position.

This position requires Certification as a Physician Assistant with prescriptive authority in the State of Washington.
