RN CCU / ICU','210594','Critical Care','Washington-Seattle','Days','On Call/Per Diem','On Call/Per Diem','0700-1930','0700-1930','Per diem','Per diem','','','!*!Our Critical Care Unit serves a variety of patient populations with medical and surgical conditions that include cardiac, vascular, pulmonary, GI, GU and neurological just to name a few. The unit has an Assistant Nurse Manager on staff at all times. In addition, a Clinical Nurse Leader provides coordination and consistency for patients with complex care needs and extended lengths of stay in the hospital. The Critical Care Unit employs Intensivists that work with the CCU RNs and other members of the CCU team. The dynamic team has impressive outcomes related to a significant reduction in Ventilator associated pneumonia and catheter related blood stream infections.
The registered nurse provides high quality, skilled nursing services to assist patients to achieve optimum health and functional health status following an illness requiring hospitalization. Through collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals, the nurse prepares the patient and family for discharge to home or another setting for continued care.

Current WA State RN license required.
1 or more years recent Critical Care experience preferred.
EKG Monitor Validation.
Preferred: Open Heart experience; Interventional Cardiology experience; CCRN; ACLS; BSN strongly preferred.
