Provides operational and logistical support of the community health assessments and implementation plans for all Carilion hospitals. Supports the creation of project plans, SMART goals, and business plans for community health improvement projects. Collects data from hospital and community stakeholder through community benefit teams for community benefit reporting. Supports the Carilion Clinic Community Grant Process. Provides support for the bi-annual grant partner meeting. Write and edits grant Letters of Agreement. Reviews community grant requests and coordinates with grantees on application submission and progress reports. Creates grant outcomes reports for each cycle. Gathers data and reports on the benefit provided to the community by Carilion. Provides support to Community Benefit Director and the Tax Department to complete all applicable 990 forms and schedule H for Carilion hospitals. Supports CB Tracker by entering financial data and providing reports. Creates and manages process to enter system-wide community benefit. Supports entering data to the VHHA for an annual statewide aggregate report.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, community health, or related field required. Masters degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3-5 years in healthcare strategic planning, community planning development, or related field with demonstrated track record.
OTHER: Must demonstrate excellent organizational, planning, facilitation, and communication skills and function effectively in a team setting. Requires understanding of market research and statistics as well as strategic thinking and problem solving skills. Must possess strong analytical skills and knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods. Must be able to handle multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously. Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database applications, including Microsoft Excel required. Experience with Microsoft Word and Power Point required; previous experience with VHI patient level data, EPICS licensure data, and patient satisfaction measurement highly desirable. Must have own transportation.
