We have an opportunity to join the Alliance as a PMO Project Manager II in the Operational Excellence Department. We are recruiting for one position and it can be filled in any of our three Alliance offices in California: Merced, Salinas or Scotts Valley.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Reporting to the PMO Portfolio Manager, you will:
Provide intermediate-level project management support for medium to high complexity cross-functional, systems-driven strategic and operational projects involving interdepartmental units and/or external stakeholder teams through all aspects of the project lifecycle
Conduct intermediate-level business, technical and financial analysis and reporting to support operations and business development
Effectively utilize, implement and communicate project management methodologies and policies, and mentor project teams, project stakeholders and PMO Project Manager I, to ensure accuracy, consistency and thoroughness

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Have demonstrated experience successfully executing a standard project lifecycle, from project concept through closing
Ability to plan and lead with creativity and flexibility; finding effective solutions when resources are limited
Model effective communication and problem-solving skills across various group, including cross-functional stakeholders
Demonstrate “above the line” accountability, taking personal responsibility for making things happen
Believe we are more powerful and effective collectively than individually, and depend on collaboration to achieve goals
Be invested in the success of others and enjoy motivating others to achieve expected outcomes
Be familiar with principles of process improvement and have experience working on process improvement projects
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Knowledge of:
Project management methodologies and tools
Windows-based PC systems and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and project management software
Methods and tools of meeting facilitation
Ability to:
Lead team building exercises and facilitate meetings and/or projects using problem-solving and persuasion skills
Demonstrate strong analytical skills and identify issues, offer solutions and mitigate risk
Maintain a positive attitude toward ambiguity and adapt to changing business needs
Accurately collect, interpret and evaluate data, make recommendations, and project consequences and recommendations
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Health Care or a related field
Minimum of three years of project management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be qualifying
OTHER DETAILS
While this position is connected to one of our Alliance offices, we are in a fully telecommute work environment right now due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The interview and on-boarding process for this position will be completed remotely
This position
may
require onsite presence when our offices re-open, which will be no sooner than February 1, 2022. Onsite presence will most likely be on a part-time basis, but is dependent on business needs
