We have an opportunity for a 1.0 FTE Non-Surgical Podiatrist in desirable Edmonds and Lynnwood, Washington, just north of Seattle. Aspects of the Nonsurgical Podiatrist role:
● Position information. This position will be three days per week working out of the Edmonds Family Medicine Clinic and two days out of the Lynnwood Regional Medical Center. We expect the patient population to present with the full gamut of Foot and Ankle pathology from acute Foot and Ankle Trauma, Osteoarthritis Management. Overuse injuries, Orthotics, Pediatrics, and Diabetic Foot Issues. There are no inpatient or on-call responsibilities with this position.
● Team based approach. Our Podiatry team focuses on providing appropriate, compassionate, and collegial state-of-the art care for our patients. We believe in advancing the field of Podiatry through quality patient care, research, and education. We also truly believe in the team approach as everyone’s role within the group is valued and appreciated.
● Teaching opportunities: VMFH is a teaching environment. We are involved with the Swedish Foot and Ankle Surgical Residency and run a Fellowship in Foot and Ankle Sports Medicine. Our group is encouraged to become involved in the American Academy of Podiatric Medicine/Washington State Podiatric Medical Association and/or any other Podiatric Society of your choice.

','!*!● Our ideal candidate is Board Certified or Qualified in Podiatric Medicine by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. Alternative forms of Board Certification are acceptable, however Board qualification or certification by ABFAS is not required.
● Post-Residency experience is preferred but not required. We anticipate this to become a busy practice very quickly.
● Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA.
● Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice.
