We are seeking a part time (32 hours per week) experienced outpatient RN to work at our Virginia Mason University Village Medical Center- Pediatrics. This position has a variable Monday-Friday schedule with rotating Saturdays. Clinic hours are 7am-7pm, hours may vary. Our U Village clinic is a beautiful facility that was thoughtfully designed – from a separate newborn waiting area in pediatrics to a convenient onsite laboratory. The clinic area is spacious and comfortable – with plenty of natural light streaming through the large windows lining the waiting rooms. We deliver world-class pediatric care, from newborn through young adult. Our VM University Village Pediatrics clinic offers everything from well child checks, vaccinations and sports/school physicals to specialty services including Asthma, Dermatology and ADHD assessments. The responsibilities of the Outpatient Registered Nurse includes: Coordinating and facilitating quality management of a broad based outpatient population across the continuum of care.Providing skilled triage and assessment, education, collaboration and coordination of healthcare and community resources, Supporting the care team in the provision of patient care. Providing patient advice- including telephone triageAssisting in prioritizing daily work of the clinic Providing direction to team members, including oversight of Medical Assistant’s clinical competency. Current Washington State licensure as an RN
CPR certification is required every two years
Bachelors of Science of Nursing
Strong patient assessment skills, ability to work collaboratively in team setting, current working knowledge of electronic medical records.
