Job Description

Position Summary:

This position will lead the commercial team for GE’s Digital Pharma Solution’s team focused on supporting Pharma/BioTech companies on their digital journey. Individual will be missioned to develop multi-faceted strategic alliance relationships yielding new revenue streams for GE Healthcare Digital.

The success of these new pharmaceutical alliances and partnerships will be measured by new revenue opportunities qualified, net new initiative agreements or alliance agreements established, and most importantly, net new revenue achieved. Tactical considerations will be tracked such as new leads, workshops, and further qualification metrics, but these will be secondary to actual results.

This role will be responsible for designing and launching the Digital Pharma Solutions commercial team and will work closely with the strategic alliance management with new revenue initiatives as the central goal. In addition, this role will work collaboratively with the product team on new solution offerings.

Key responsibilities include:

Drive new data and digital related revenue with targeted Pharmaceutical/BioTech companies.

Lead the establishment of contracts and agreements

Expand existing alliance revenue projects within existing alliances and establish new projects with new alliances.

Establish processes for ongoing success including appropriate governance processes.

Structure and hire the new commercial team

Track and report results and metrics weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually.

Manage and coordinate all Executive Business Conferences (EBC’s) between GEHC and the respective partner.

Work closely with marketing on lead generation efforts including attending key industry meetings

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, pharma, technology discipline or business

Experience in launching new offerings to market and growing new businesses

Experience working for or with Pharmaceutical companies

Experience achieving targeted revenue from business

8 years of experience in commercial

Desired Characteristics

MBA preferred;

Knowledge of the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry preferred;

Prior business development, alliances management or consulting experiences preferred;

Knowledge of digital solution offerings and pharmaceutical offerings;

Ability to work with customers and partners on both a business and technical level;

Experience in financial analysis, business case development, forecasting and financial modeling

Well-developed presentation and communication skills, including the ability to effectively deliver presentations to C-level executives in both GEHC and Pharma

Travel is required up to 50-60% including international
