Working Environment
As the medical records supervisor, you will be working in the office of medical facilities. The usual work week is the standard 40 hours.
Education
In order to become a medical records supervisor, you will have to acquire an associate's degree from the health care technology field. Usually, employers are looking for candidates that have a four year degree.
Certification
A lot of employers out there want applicants that have obtained a certificate from the AHIMA, or American Health Information Management Association. Also, the applicant must also have an associate's degree and have completed the exam for certification through the RHIT, Registered Health Information Technicians.
