It is often required that a behavioral tech must have great communication, analytical and observation skills. They are also required to have the ability to effectively collect data and deal fairly during crises.

Some behavioral techs work with animals; they are known at veterinarian behavior technicians. As a veterinarian behavior technician, you will have to work in a specialized area with animals, ensuring that their needs are met and welfare is catered to.

The average annual salary for behavioral techs is around $37,000. Of course, the pay you receive all depends on where you live, who you work for and your educational and professional background. The more experience you have, the more you could get paid. Also, holding a bachelor's degree over an associate's degree will also allow you to make more money in this field.
