Job Description
As a plastic surgeon, you will have to work with patients who are looking to replace, reconstruct or repair different parts of their bodies. Most of the time, it is facial features that you will be working on, but there are times where you will work on other parts of the body, like the hand or torso.
Education and Training
To get in the field of plastic surgery, you will need to go to medical school and then complete residency in the field. Those who are plastic surgeons will have residencies longer than others who have a less specialized area in the medical field. It can sometimes take between five to seven years to complete. If there are any subspecialties, there is an extra year for each.

In this field, you could make an annual salary between $300,000 and $791,510.
