Do you enjoy eating healthy and sharing nutritious tips with others? Maybe you should consider being a nutritionist. Once you become a trained nutritionist, you will be able to make an average of $43,000. You will be able to work in nursing homes, hospitals, schools and physician offices. Step One: The first thing you will need to do is take the right preparation classes while in high school. Some of the courses you want to consider taking include sociology, biology and economics. These classes will allow you to get prepared for college training in these courses.



Step Two: Next, you will need to attend a college. It is recommended that you obtain at least a bachelor's degree as a nutritionist. You also have the option of acquiring a master's degree, but you will need at least a bachelor's. Obtain a degree that's involves nutrition and food, food service systems management or dietetics.

Step Three: Now, you will need to obtain licensure. If you live in a state that requires you to carry a license to operate, you will need to acquire one. There are 46 states in the U.S. that require nutritionists to have a license (done through the ADA).
