Health insurance premiums continue to skyrocket: from 20% to more than 100%, reflecting the high costs of the covered services. As such, a full 50% of business profits go to paying for healthcare costs versus only 7% 30 years ago.
A survey by ComPsych Corporation showed that 63% of workers surveyed say they have "high levels of stress, with extreme fatigue and feeling out of control," which is up 15 % from six months earlier. Why? Because of the heavy workload caused by business expansion after downsizing or new fears of downsizing.
