Attorney Mark Barnes, a health law expert, has been chosen by St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as its new chief administrative officer. Barnes has 20 years of experience in health law and administration. He will supervise clinical-protocol operations, facility operation, expansion, strategic planning, risk management, and compliance. A native of Alabama, Barnes teaches law, medicine, medical ethics, and clinical research ethics at Yale Medical School. He is a member of the advisory committee for Human Research Protections of the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
